Section 01

About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by Esther Anato-Dumelo, International Barrister, operating under the name Esther Anato-Dumelo Legal & Advisory ("Esther", "we", "us").

By booking any service through this website or through Cal.com, you ("the Client") confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full. These terms form a binding agreement between the Client and Esther Anato-Dumelo.

Esther reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be available at estheradumelo.com/terms.

Section 02

Services

Esther provides the following professional services:

Legal Consulting — strategic legal advisory on international commercial law, human rights, contracts, regulatory compliance, Free Economic Zones, diaspora investment, and digital finance. From £3,000 per hour.
Business Consulting — high-level business strategy and advisory for organisations, entrepreneurs, and leaders. From £3,000 per hour.
Executive & Celebrity Coaching & Mentoring — private coaching and mentoring sessions for executives, public figures, and entrepreneurs. From £1,000 per session.
Keynote Speaking — international keynote speaking engagements for conferences, summits, corporate events, and institutions. From £25,000 per engagement.
Expert Commentary & Media — broadcast appearances, written opinion, and expert legal analysis. Fees by arrangement.

All fees quoted are for Esther's professional time only. Travel, accommodation, meals and all related expenses required for in-person engagements are not included in any quoted fee and will be quoted and invoiced separately.

Esther reserves the right to decline any booking at her absolute discretion, including after payment has been received. In such cases a full refund will be issued within 5–10 business days.

Section 03

Payment Terms

The following payment terms apply to all services:

Payment required immediately if the service is required within two days or less of the agreed booking date, or the booking will be forfeited.
Payment required within 48 hours if the service is required three or more days after the agreed booking date, or the booking will be forfeited.
No service will be rendered until full payment has been received and confirmed.

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Accepted payment methods include all major credit and debit cards. By providing payment details, you authorise Esther to charge the agreed fee in full.

All fees are quoted and charged in GBP (£). International clients are responsible for any currency conversion fees or bank charges.

Stripe payment receipts are issued automatically upon payment. These serve as your proof of purchase. For invoice requests, please contact info@estheradumelo.com.

Section 04

Cancellation & Refund Policy

The following cancellation and refund terms apply to Legal Consulting, Business Consulting, and Executive & Celebrity Coaching & Mentoring sessions:

Scenario	Policy
Cancellation by client	Strictly non-refundable. One reschedule permitted with a minimum of 72 hours' notice, subject to availability.
No-show by client	Non-refundable. No reschedule offered.
Cancellation by Esther	Full refund processed within 5–10 business days via Stripe, or a priority reschedule at the earliest available time slot. Priority will be given to rescheduling where possible.
Travel & expenses	Billed separately. Non-refundable once incurred regardless of the reason for cancellation.

To cancel or reschedule, please contact info@estheradumelo.com with your booking reference as soon as possible. All cancellation and reschedule requests must be received in writing by email.

Section 05

Keynote Speaking Engagements

The following terms apply specifically to Keynote Speaking Engagements:

Scenario	Policy
Payment terms	Full payment required to confirm the engagement. Payment required immediately if the engagement is within 2 days, or within 48 hours if 3 or more days away.
Cancellation by client	Strictly non-refundable. Full fee payable regardless of cancellation timing.
Cancellation by Esther	Full refund of all payments made, or an alternative speaking date offered at priority scheduling. Priority will be given to rescheduling where possible.
Travel & accommodation	All travel, accommodation, meals and related expenses are billed separately, are non-refundable once incurred, and are payable in addition to the speaking fee.
Formal contract	A formal speaking contract will be issued within 48 hours of booking confirmation.

Keynote speaking fees start from £25,000 per engagement. All speaking enquiries begin with a complimentary 15-minute discovery call to confirm suitability, availability, and scope.

Section 06

Intellectual Property

All content, materials, presentations, documents, frameworks, strategies, and advice produced or shared by Esther in connection with any service remain the intellectual property of Esther Anato-Dumelo unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Session materials provided to the Client are for the Client's personal or internal business use only.
No materials may be reproduced, distributed, published, or shared publicly without Esther's prior written consent.
Recording of any session — whether audio, video, or otherwise — is strictly prohibited without Esther's prior written consent.
Any keynote speech delivered by Esther remains her intellectual property. Recordings may only be used with her express written permission.

Section 07

Confidentiality

Esther treats all Client information with the strictest professional confidentiality, consistent with her obligations as a barrister and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

All personal and confidential information shared by the Client will be used solely for the purpose of providing the agreed service.
Esther will not disclose Client information to any third party without the Client's prior written consent, except where required by law or by her professional regulatory obligations.
Clients are similarly expected to treat any information shared by Esther as confidential and not to disclose it without her prior written consent.

Please note that Esther Anato-Dumelo is a practising barrister subject to the professional conduct rules of the Bar Council of England and Wales and the Bar Standards Board. These obligations take precedence in all matters of professional conduct.

Section 08

Limitation of Liability

Esther provides all services with the highest level of professional care and expertise. However, the following limitations apply:

Esther's total liability to the Client for any claim arising from any service shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for that specific service.
Esther shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss or damage arising from the provision of any service.
Legal consulting sessions constitute strategic advisory only and do not constitute formal legal representation unless agreed separately in writing. Clients should seek formal legal representation for any litigation or court proceedings.
Coaching and mentoring sessions are advisory in nature. The Client is solely responsible for any decisions made or actions taken as a result of coaching sessions.
Esther shall not be liable for any loss arising from circumstances beyond her reasonable control including but not limited to illness, force majeure, or technical failure.

Section 09

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
